Inside Zedd's Robes: Posting Quota Edition

Blog News: I downloaded a new blog editor which I should be able to use to get faster and newer posts up. However I do expect some hiccups so if anything appears weird, either shoot me an email or leave something in the comments.

I also hope to get some guest posters from IMP and DharanSoldier. Look for those in the coming weeks.

Cool Stuff on the Interwebs: Craig Horner and Bridget Regan did a slew of interviews to promote the new season. I can't post them all here but most of them are very similar. They love the show, love New Zealand, love the story, and stay tuned to see what happens. I will post the interview from G4's hit Attack of the Show because I watch this show a lot. (read: I am a nerd)

Generally good stuff. Also Ted Raimi, who you may remember from his role in Bounty as the mapmaker returns to the show. He also has a twitter page devoted to Legend of the Seeker. Pretty interesting to hear his thoughts (read his tweets?) about the show.

Upcoming Events: There's a new episode this weekend. TV Guide has the following blurb about the show:

Cara goes on trial for past crimes, and finds her fate in Kahlen's (sic) hands.

I guess the whole Cara vs. Kahlan thing is coming to a head. What I wonder is whether Kahlan will ever be able to trust Cara or are they going to with this distrust dynamic for a long while?

Moments in Bruce Spence's Career: Already referenced but I turn to Halfway Across the Galaxy and Turn Left for one of Mr. Spence's most terrifying roles:

Let that burn into your mind for this week. You watched it. You can't unwatch it. Hope to get the recap Monday night again. See you then.

Inside Zedd's Robes: New Feelings Edition

Cool Stuff on the Interwebs: So after a long hiatus, this blog returns with a vengeance. A little over a week is left until season 2 starts so get excited. The official Legend of the Seeker Site has a ton of new videos that the most dedicated of you have seen. I include the most important one:

But seriously if you like to hear about the show you should go there. The official site that is. Some of the stuff can be considered spoiler heavy but whatever.

Awards won: This blog has been officially named to the Fantasy Blogs up-and-coming list. It's a real honor and I'm happy that... no... just kidding. There's no such thing. The only thing this blog has going for it is that it is the self-proclaimed third best blog about Legend of the Seeker. Or, it was...

Anyways, the actual show Legend of the Seeker has won an Emmy for Outstanding Music Composition. I recently watched the first episode over again and the music there is actually really good. As someone who is living through an everlasting cold, Legend of the Seeker is definitely a great post-up-with-a-blanket-on-the-couch. If it comes out in Blu-Ray it might dethrone Planet Earth. Probably not though. Hey here is the Emmy promo video that the show put out:

Upcoming Events: The show starts up again the weekend of the 7th and 8th of November which is so soon. Get ready to see plenty of Richard, Kahlan, Zedd and other friends. Looks like Cara will be a prominent character this season. Good times ahead. Anyways TV Guide has the following:

Season 2 premiere: Richard inadvertently opens an entry to the underworld, unleashing a terrible evil. Triana: Charisma Carpenter.

You might remember Charisma Carpenter from Buffy, Angel, and the ABC Family comedy Greek (Which is awesome by the way). She plays a Mord-Sith with kind of a mean streak. It's just awesome to be getting back into the thick of it.

Blog News I am going to try to get the recap up at the beginning of the week. Hopefully by Monday. I hope to get some more content on the blog as well, so I'm bringing in a guest blogger. Hopefully we can be a little more regular with posting three times a week during weeks when there is a new episode. If anyone has further suggestions on the blog, please let me know.

Roles in Bruce Spence's Career: This is something called Crooked Mick of the Speewah. Bruce Spence seems to be playing a farmer who put his sheep on stilts. He can't seem to get them... you know what, I can't explain it. Just watch the video:

Oh so good. Every time I think I won't find a new role that Bruce Spence has played, something like this comes along. Just so fantastic.

Inside Zedd's Robes: Still Here Edition

Upcoming Events: Been real slow while we wait for November 7 to come. Here is a promo image to whet your appetite courtesy of the Official Legend of the Seeker Site:

LOTS Season 2 Promo

Cool Stuff on the Interwebs: The three leads of Legend of the Seeker did pretty standard interviews with Sci Fi UK. There isn't too much groundbreaking materials here but it's always interesting to hear what the stars have to say about the show. Here they are: Craig Horner's interview, Bridget Regan's interview, and Bruce Spence's interview. Also if you're bored you can take a "quiz" from Sci Fi UK. Only take it if you're very bored, it's not incredibly enlightening.

Recently Kal commented on a blog post with a link to his own blog. Snark level high but in these slow times it's a pretty interesting look at the show.

Legend of the Seeker is also coming out on DVD on October 13. You can preorder the DVD from Amazon. A Blu-ray version is in the works but it isn't likely to be out until the holiday season. If I hear any more I will report it.

Roles in Bruce Spence's Career An actual serious role is presented here. This was an award winning short film called Australian Summer. The range of roles that Bruce Spence can play is incredible.

Well that's about all I have. If anything interesting comes up, I will be sure to report, until then keep yourself sane by watching reruns. Like the blog? Sign up to receive our Feed through Feedburner.

Inside Zedd's Robes: Next Season Edition

Upcoming Events: News out of Comic-Con on the upcoming season. First of all here's a sneak peak:

Video courtesy of the Official Legend of the Seeker Site. There are a bunch of spoilers about the show's second season out there. Highlights include that Cara from the first season finale will be a prominent recurring character, the Stone of Tears will be a major theme, and of course the show is going to kick ass!

Oh wait a minute... one more thing. Season premiere date has been announced. Set your calendar for November 7. We can see our heroes fight evil once again.

Cast News: Bridget Regan has started a Twitter account. Sounds like she is having a blast filming the new season. You can read her Twitter page here. If you're on the Twitter checking out Bridget, make sure to check out our page where I try to update with news about the blog. Find us at our Twitter page.

Roles in Bruce Spence's Career: I know I posted a picture of this last time. But this is just too good to pass up. An encore performance of Stork, Bruce Spence's first major role.

The shirt he is wearing at 0:15 is pretty priceless.

Inside Zedd's Robes: Still Having Fun Edition

Blog News: Okay so I have had to deal with moving so I haven't had a lot of time to work on the blog. Fortunately it is the off season so there is not much to report on. I want to do some design stuff for the blog so expect posting to be light.

Cool Stuff on the Interwebs: Watch with Kristin on E!Online has an article telling people to watch Legend of the Seeker. The article has interesting points of view about the show. Always nice to see publicity for the show. There is also the following interview with Bridget Regan and Craig Horner:

Speaking of Bridget Regan there has been a lot of talk about her in the role of Wonder Woman in an upcoming movie. Fans have created an online petition. All this talk was even picked up by Splash Page on MTV.com. Sounds pretty cool and FWIW I think she would be perfect for the role.

Additionally Digital Spy Reports Sci-Fi UK has picked up Legend of the Seeker which should start August 13. Fans in the UK should be delighted.

Roles in Bruce Spence's Career: This is one of his first films called Stork. His character's name is Graham "Stork" Wallace. Alright!

Bruce Spence in Stork

Inside Zedd's Robes: End of Beginning Edition

Upcoming Events: Well the season is over. If you head over to the Official Legend of the Seeker site you can read what the order of repeats will be. The new season should start up again in the fall.

Blog News: First order of business is to get the Legend of the Weeker for Denna up. I should be getting that up on Wednesday or Thursday. I totally forgot about it.

I also want to do some housekeeping on the blog so look for posting to be light early on in the summer. Also if you have any ideas on what you would like to see on this blog, then please leave your ideas in the comments. One thing that I plan to change in the off-season is to report on news as soon as I get it. When the season starts up again, I will go back to the weekly Inside Zedd's Robes post. I think though it would be better to get immediate news as opposed to waiting a week for it.

Cool Stuff on the Interwebs: The gaming and entertainment website IGN has a review of season one. It has a pretty cool analysis so have a read through.

Bridget Regan is doing a movie that has Neil Patrick Harris as its lead. Philadelphia Inquirer reports about this movie and it sounds awesome. There have definitely been some episodes this season where Bridget got to show off her comedy acting chops and it will be interesting to see her in a purely comic role.

Off from their show Bridget Regan and Craig Horner are making the interview circuit. Here is Craig on KTLA morning news;

Interesting tidbits include Craig talking in an Australian accent. He apparently learned to speak with the American accent by mimicking Leonardo Decaprio. I kind of wonder why they made him get rid of the Australian accent. Lastly apparently his stunt double has an incredibly strong punch and collapsed someone's lung on the show. Uhh terrifying.

Not to be outdone by her costar, Bridget Regan stopped by the morning show with Regis and Kelly. Here is the clip:

Hopefully interviews like this will generate more buzz on the show. Good stuff.

Roles in Bruce Spence's Career: Thanks goes out to Johanna who runs a Bruce Spence fanclub who provided me with tons of links to pictures and clips of Bruce Spence's movies. This clip is simply awesome. Forward to 4:15 for Bruce Spence's role.

FANTASTIC!!!

Inside Zedd's Robes: Penultimate Edition

Upcoming Events: It's the second last episode of the season. Some crazy stuff has got to go down. We know that Richard must now use the Boxes of Orden to defeat Rahl. The only question is how will he do it. TV Guide has the following:

Darken Rahl captures Richard's sister Jennsen and poisons her mind against her brother. Meanwhile, Richard, Kahlan and Zedd aid villagers after Rahl unleashes a plague on them.

Sounds like Rahl is getting pretty desperate. Episodes are also getting more intense which is when this show is at its best.

Blog News: So I secured http://www.hopehasawarrior.com as a domain. You can feel free to use that or just use the old address. We are getting more readership but still not enough for me to get off of the Blogger hosting. Speaking of which if you like the blog, make sure you subscribe to our RSS feed at Feedburner. Thanks for all the support.

Cool Stuff on the Interwebs: There is an interview with Craig Horner on E! Online. It has a few spoilers about the end of the season so read at your own peril. What he has to say about the development in Richard's character:

Richard's going to have a lot of struggle with his magic and his powers, and he has a bit of a dark side to him that he's going to have to learn to explore and control. I'm really excited about that. I hope that comes about.

As I posited earlier, episodes with a darker theme are definitely the meat and potatoes of this show. Pretty awesome to see that this is how this season will end.

Moments in Bruce Spence's Career: This is the greatest clip I have ever seen. I have no idea what the hell is going on. Bruce Spence has apparently assembled a robot out of construction trucks and going on a rampage against what are possibly vampires.

In the middle there is a man dancing with a panda. Watch it in all its glory.

Inside Zedd's Robes: Final Stretch Edition

Upcoming Events: Another new episode this weekend and it should be a good one. We learned last episode that it should be a high stakes race. TV Guide has the following to say:

Richard, Kahlan and Zedd race to find a duplicate copy of the Book of Counted Shadows before Darken Rahl gets his hands on it.

I know some people were worried about departures from the books where the Book of Counted Shadows was important throughout Richard's quest against Darken Rahl. This is a way for the writers to resolve that problem.

Cool Stuff on the Interwebs: Bridget Regan is back from what I assume is the end of the season and she did an interview with a local New York TV station:

It's mostly fluff and girl talk. Like the "what would you say to the following celebrities" part? What the hell was that? Bridget did mention how much she gets along with Craig Horner. You can definitely tell these two get along great. Like "peas and carrots".

Moments in Bruce Spence's Career: This is a picture of Bruce Spence from the movie Solo. Presented without commentary:

Inside Zedd's Robes: Skinny Dipping Edition

Upcoming Events: This weekend is another repeat. We get to see Puppeteer, which was the first Legend of the Weeker ever. You can read all about it here: Legend of the Weeker: Puppeteer. The following week we get Mirror. That will be the first of the five final episodes of season one. Fortunately the good folks over at the Legend of the Seeker Official Site have provided us with some promo shots. Looks like sexiness will ensue:

Richard and Kahlan swimming

Sexiness indeed.

Blog News: So apparently I haven't been doing a good job catching up on those Legend of the Weekers from a time before this blog existed. Blame my European travels. I will do my best to get caught up on the three episodes before the 25th when the new episode comes out. From there on out we will have a sprint to the finale.

On a related note, after the season ends I have no idea what to do with the blog until next season. If you have any suggestions leave them in the comments or send me an email at hopehasawarrrior(@)gmail.com.

Roles in Bruce Spence's Career: Here is Bruce Spence in the movie Aquamarine. I think the movie has something to do with mermaids or something. I would imagine Bruce Spence's role is as the creepy old guy that ends up knowing a lot and teaches the teenagers not to judge books by their covers.

Bruce Spence in Aquamarine

His characters name in this epic is Leonard. I would assume that the W stands for Win. Play to win Mr. Spence. Play to win.

Inside Zedd's Robes: Vacation Edition

Upcoming Events: One more new episode this week. After that we get two replays. The first is Elixir and the other is Denna. As for this week, TV Guide has the following:

Richard goes undercover and infiltrates a D'Haran camp to save innocent lives after he and Kahlan discover that Darken Rahl has been using dark magic to fight the resistance.

There has been a split again with Kahlan and Richard heading off on their own. While alone they were almost trapped in Westland, came face to face with Darken Rahl, and started the dubious practice of practice fighting with their weapons. Best of luck you crazy kids.

Cool Stuff on the Interwebs: Enough interviews already. The New Zealand Herald has a pretty interesting article about the show. There is a lot about the backgrounds of the cast and crew. Also Craig Horner apparently took this role in no small part due to his love for sword play:

"I really, really enjoy the fight scenes. It's like a childhood obsessions. The kid in me can't believe I get to do swordfighting every day."

Blog News: So as the IMP reported, we are now on Twitter. You can find us @HopeHasAWarrior. We will try to post all blog updates there as well as if some really crazy Breaking News hits. (How did the Illiterate Midlands Peasant know about Twitter?)

Beautiful Scene

I will be traveling in Europe until April 7, starting tomorrow, so I will likely not be able to post. Sorry about that. You will have to wait until later that week for the Legend of the Weeker for this upcoming episode. Try to make it through.

Roles in Bruce Spence's Career: Let this load and then go to minute 6:45 in this clip to see a creepy performance by Bruce Spence (Caution: Parts NSFW):

His character's name in Dark City: Mr. Wall. Fantastic.

Inside Zedd's Robes: More Interviews Edition

Upcoming Events: I am excited for the all new episode this week. Although my excitement is going to have to wait extra long since the new episode won't air until midnight on Monday. We should get to see more of Chase and a get a glimpse of the showdown that we have all been waiting to see. TV Guide has the following:

While attempting to rescue Chase's family from captivity, Richard encounters Darken Rahl for the first time.

If no part of that excites you for this weekend then you have no soul. No soul.

Blog News: As you may or may not have noticed I have added the Legend of the Weeker for Listener, the fifth episode in the season. Hopefully I will get all caught up before this season ends. No promises. I also added the new episode titles in the Episode Guide for two new episodes that we should see in April. Lastly I removed the old Get Updates widget and added a Feedburner link on the right side. Let me know if you have any problems with the feed.

My next projects are going to be a Links page (simple) and a new banner (hard). Most likely the banner will look like stick figures drawn with Paint but I'll do my best.

Cool Stuff on the Interwebs: Craig Horner and Bridget Regan, love doing interviews. It is really great to have actors that give this amount of attention to fans.

The gang

Craig did an interview with Starpulse.com last week. I missed it. He refutes internet speculation that he is involved with the Hobbit movie. Craig's second interview was from this week with Chud.com. It has a lot more meat and this wonderful tidbit on working with Bruce Spence:

Bruce is a really chill kind of guy you know and it’s just so great and it really rings true. He’d much prefer to talk about the cup of tea that he just had five minutes ago and how nice it is compared to some other brand of tea...He’s really humble and I admire him. I really look up to him.

I guess this is a case of life imitating art. I can really see this conversation happening. Not to be outdone by Craig, Bridget Regan also did an interview with SFUniverse.com. While Craig and Bridget are relatively new players in the world of big stars, let's hope that this level of fan access continues. It really gives us a window into their life of creating the world we all love.

Roles in Bruce Spence's Career: Search for our favorite wizard in this classic trailer:

He's there somewhere.

Inside Zedd's Robes: Traveling Edition

Upcoming Events: Another all new episode and we get to see the return of Chase. No offense to the lead actors because I love them, but Jay Laga'aia, the actor that plays him, gives one of the most believable performances I have seen in a while. I'm pretty sure he was born to play this role. TV Guide has the following to say about the episode:

After Richard and Kahlen reunite with Chase, whose family has gone missing, the three travel back to Hartland, where they discover that things aren't what they seem.

Blog News: A few new things going on in Hope Has a Warrior land. First of all I got a few complaints that the feed wasn't working for people. We now broadcast through Feedburner which is a bit better. Let me know if you have any problems. Also if you like our blog, subscribe to the feed. Always nice to know we have fans out there.

I also have added a Contact Us page so that you can contact the creators of this blog. By that I mean me and my roommate. We're good people. Kind of... One final note, I will be gone this weekend so you'll have to wait for the Legend of the Weeker until Tuesday. Sorry.

Cool Stuff on the Interwebs:

Richard and Kahlan picture

Both Bridget Regan and Craig Horner have done interviews recently. Bridget Regan's interview was with Daemon's TV, a pretty cool blog about TV shows. It's pretty long but a worthwhile read. A lot about what she draws her inspiration from. Give it a lookthrough.

The Craig Horner interview was with the TV Addict, another cool TV blog. Craig on what it's like to work with Bridget:

It’s great. We’re both Aquarians and Aquarians tend to get along together. We’re both fans of the book, similar ages, both love acting and really try and make our scenes together really sincere. It’s great to work with an actress who’s not just showing up to collect a paycheck.

Roles in Bruce Spence's Career:

Bruce Spence as Tion Medon
I couldn't find any video of this moment but this is Bruce Spence playing some terrifying dude in Star Wars Episode III. I think I actually prefer Zedd to any of the other characters that Bruce usually plays. While pretty creepy, at least Zedd doesn't give the average person night terrors if they see him.

Inside Zedd's Robes: So Much Stuff Edition

Upcoming Events: All new episode this weekend. Hopefully not another clip show. As always I am mum on any previews but the TV Guide one. Coincindentally, TV Guide has the following to say about the episode:

Facts behind the thousand-year legend of heroic ancient Seeker Kieran.

If you remember this was the Seeker that was mentioned by Gryff who pretended to be Richard in Identity. It will be interesting to find out more about him.

Blog News: I decided that it is too hard to read all of the Legend of the Weekers. Especially since I'm not creating them in order. That's why I have decided to create this fancy-shmancy Legend of the Seeker Episode Guide. It has all the episodes in order and it shows you what episodes that I have yet to do. You can access it from the Episode Guide link under Through the Boundary in the upper left corner.

In terms of near future for this blog, I plan to add a links page and a contacts page. I also want to create a banner for the blog and obviously catch up on the Legend of the Weekers. How fast will this happen? Probably not very fast, but keep checking back for updates.

Cool Stuff on the Interwebs:

Bridget Regan

The always lovely Bridget Regan did a pair of interviews recently. The first one is for the AMC blog SciFi Scanner. A few interesting tidbits in there about what it's like to play Kahlan. Also she is apparently not a fan of George Bush.

Bridget's second interview was with SciFi Wire. In it she talks a lot more about what's coming up for her and Richard's character. Also makes two suggestions about what she would like to see. The first is a dragon. The second:

And I'd like to maybe get Kahlan into a shorter dress, because it's hot in the middle of the summer.

Your humble blogger respectfully seconds this motion.

Roles in Bruce Spence's Career:

Check out this little clip from Matrix: Revolutions.

Ah Bruce Spence. How skillfully you play a vagrant with handgun. Almost as skillfully as you play a wizard creepily hanging out with two star-crossed lovers fighting evil. Well done sir... well done.

Legend of the Weeker: Brennidon

Synopsis: Kahlan is mediating disputes since people can't lie to her. Bored watching that, Richard heads off on a hunt for a 12-point buck. Zedd meets an old flame so he lets Richard go. During the hunt Richard comes by Brennidon, the town where he was born. He walks by the graves of the first-borns from that town. Richard is too curious to let it be so he sneaks into Brennidon

Brennidon Pic

In the town a woman is about to be executed for speaking her mind. Richard saves her and is accosted by the town guards. He is then saved by a woman who hides him and tells him that she is his mother. He also meets her son named Mark. In the woods Zedd's old flame tells her he has a kid that she wants him to raise. Zedd does not believe her and asks Kahlan to settle the dispute. She determines that he is not the father but that Zedd has another secret.

Mark turns on Richard and plans to give him over to the D'harans. Richard escapes and is about to flee the town when he realizes that all the women are rounded up. At the center square, Richard's mother speaks out against the D'harans claiming she is the Seeker's mother. All the other women have a Spartacus type moment and claim they are the mothers. The D'haran says he will execute them all unless the Seeker turns himself in.

The people of Brennidon

Richard goes and convinces Mark to help him out. Mark takes Richard to the D'harans and he is to be executed along with his mother. Zedd clears the air with the kid by giving him some self confidence and hearing that Richard might be in trouble he and Kahlan head off to save Richard. Richard actually got the whole town on his side and they attack the D'harans after Mark stabs the D'haran's leader. Zedd and Kahlan lend a hand.

As Zedd is admonishing Richard for being reckless, the woman claiming to be Richard's mother admits to only being the midwife at his birth. She claims to have lied because he reminds her of her son. Uhh what?!?? The real mother disappeared. As the gang rides off into the sunset we find out that Zedd is Richard's grandfather.

The gang

Commentary: Now I like this show. I always claim that for what this show is trying to be, it generally succeeds. However, if you wanted to mock this show, this is the episode to do it. There are several stunning family revelations. I'm your mother. I'm your brother. He's your son. I'm his grandfather. I felt like I needed Maury Povich to help me sort it out.

Richard and Kahlan fight

The fighting at the end of the episode was pretty half assed. Why did everything happen in slow motion? This show generally does fight scenes pretty well but there was like five minutes of nothing but slow motion. Also how hilarious was it that after pummeling the D'harans with the veggies, in the aftermath of the fight the people start gathering all the vegetables.

We did get some gorgeous shots of New Zealand scenery. I almost feel like instead of the family plotline, I would have preferred the episode be about Richard and the hunters going after the stag. I feel like they could have developed some Bugs Bunny/Elmer Fudd moments. Also what was with the shot of the stag in the beginning and the end of the episode?

Each episode of the show generally has a theme. This episode's theme is Believe in Yourself. That's all anyone has to do to succeed in life. The townspeople started believing in themselves and they stood up to the D'harans. So did that kid that tried to pretend he was Zedd's son. Only problem is we don't see them succeeding. I feel like they could have gotten all this self-confidence and they could come crashing down. Not like those villagers can fight off the D'harans. Nor is that kid going to become a great hunter. I hope he doesn't get mauled by another boar.

Richard and Kahlan Romance Index: 1 out of 10. They really were not together for much of this episode. I will give a point out for Kahlan jumping up (in slow motion again) onto the platform and staring at Richard while she does it.

Kahlan runs up to save Richard

Zedd's Creepiness Factor: 8 out of 10. Noone can really pull off saying "Magical Protection" like Bruce Spence. Did anyone else wonder what the magical protection consisted of? I'm gonna guess it was something creepy and gross. Also he mentioned something to that woman implying that he remembered multiple sexual encounters with her over a short period of time. Creepy.

Zedd is creepy

In case if anyone was wondering, "Magical Protection" is a metaphor for condoms. Noone was really wondering that, were they?

Notable Quotes:

Stupid D'haran: "I will kill the seeker at midday."

Kahlan: "Why didn't you warn him?"
Zedd: "Because he's the most stubborn man I've ever met."

Stupid D'haran: "The legend of the Seeker seems greater than the man."
Richard: "That legend will go on if you kill me"

Richard: "You were wrong D'haran. The prophecy was not averted."

Inside Zedd's Robes: Spoilery Edition

First off let me apologize for not getting the Legend of the Weeker for Bounty up this weekend. Stupid cold seems to have finally knocked me out. I should have some spare time this weekend, so I will catch up. In the words of Barack Obama: "I screwed up."

Upcoming Events: This week is another rerun. We will get to see Brennidon, the story of the town where Richard was born. A pretty exciting episode that provides us with some background on where Richard came from as well as more questions into his past.

I will really try to get the Legend of the Weeker for Bounty up on Friday and the one for Brennidon up this weekend. I also want to start catching up on the other episodes that were shown before this blog was born. To quote Bart Simpson: "I can't promise I'll try... but I'll try to try."

Cool Stuff on the Interwebs: Craig Horner had an interview with TV Guide the past week. (Warning: Minor spoilers) Horner gives us some delicious hints into what we going to see in the second half of the first season as well as what is to come in season two. He also talks about what it is like to do those actions scenes. Pretty cool.

I also ran across this review of Confession from a community of fan blogs called Firefox.org (apparently not affiliated with the popular browser). It's pretty cool so if my reviews are boring or like this week I don't put them up, check them out.

Lastly I have decided to add another section called:

Roles in Bruce Spence's career: We are going to keep a track on Bruce Spence's very very diverse career in this part of the blog. What did he do before he was cast to play a creepy wizard that helps our heroes? Tune in every week to find out.

Where you ask is Bruce Spence in this scene? Who else but the creepiest role in the clip. The actor that portrays our favorite wizard plays the Mouth of Sauron who is beheaded by Aragorn. Apparently he decided that he was going to take his career in a creepy direction in his later years.
